Stella J. Tantlinger, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Concordia Fox Chapel. She was born in Moon Township and resided in West Deer Township and Tarentum most of her life. Stella had been employed at Papercraft Corp., Blawnox and Walmart in Natrona Heights. She was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum where she served in the Christian Mothers Association. Stella enjoyed her family, traveling, flea markets and conversing with and greeting customers at Walmart.
Stella is survived by her children Tim (Helen) Tantlinger, of Franklin, PA, Michael (Jolyn Campenelli) Tantlinger, of Natrona Heights and Terry (Carol) Tantlinger, of Franklin, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Amanda Tantlinger (Jonathan Lasko), Robert (Shelly) Tantlinger, Jessica Tantlinger (Joe Bubenheim); great grandchildren Maxine and Robert Tantlinger and Alina Bubenheim. Stella’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world. She will be deeply missed by them all.
Besides her parents, Joseph and Helen Boynick, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Tantlinger in 1998 and her siblings Delores Hanus, Chester Boynick and Joseph Boynick, Jr.
The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia, both of Cabot and Fox Chapel facilities for their outstanding care.
A private family visitation was held in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A Christian funeral mass was celebrated in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum followed by an entombment in Our Lady of Hope Mausoleum, Frazer Township.
