Stephen Laboda

December 30, 1941 — August 16, 2018

Stephen Laboda, 76, of Ross Township, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at UPMC North Hills Passavant Hospital. He was born December 30, 1941 in Buffalo, NY. A son of the late Stephen and Catherine (Brzozowski)  Laboda.  Stephen lived the past 15 years in Ross Twp.and prior to that Sewickley and Allison Park. He was a Maintenance Supervisor at several apartment complexes in the Pittsburgh area. Stephen was of the Catholic faith and a member of the North Hills Jaycees. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, was a Pittsburgh sports fan and watching golf on TV. He also enjoyed playing softball with the Jaycees.

          Survivors include his 4 sons, Stephen M. (Lisa A.) Laboda, Middlesex Twp., Anthony J. (Kristin A.) Laboda, Buffalo Twp. Phillip J. Laboda, Ross Twp., and Vincent (Stacy) Fernandez, Harmony Twp.6  grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.   

          Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda (Zillian)  Laboda

          Visitation 4-7 PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Burial will be private. VISIT: dusterfh.com
