Terry Persse

Terry Oxford Shipley Persse, 79 of Brackenridge, PA passed away on October 28, 2023. Terry was born March 20, 1944, and was raised in Rockledge, Florida, where she graduated from Rockledge High School in 1962.  After graduating she married James Shipley (1965) and had three children: Marion Thomas, Cassy (Dan) Beaulieu, and Pam (Paul Kuchta) Smith. In 1974 she married Jeff Persse and had two children: Jamie (Roger) Kiser and John (Angel) Persse. Terry loved walking on the beach, storytelling, fishing and her grandchildren, who fondly called her “Ena” after her renaming by Jo-jo. Terry is survived by her daughters: Marion, Cassy & Pam; her son, John; her grandchildren: Angela Fobbs, Joshua Curtis, Jessica Smith, JoAnn Thomas, Michael Beaulieu, Anthony Smith, Bethany Nix, James Nix, Chelsey Hooks, Madison Kiser, Logan Kiser, Alec Persse, Savannah Persse and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, James T. and Marion M. Oxford, her daughter, Jamie and two grandchildren, Marcus and Morgan. We will miss Terry’s sense of humor and quick wit.  She never met a stranger and always had a smile to brighten your day. A private memorial service will be held for family at a later date.
