Theodore Francis Carnathan

Theodore Francis Carnathan, 90, of Brackenridge, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at Addington Place of Clarkston, Independence Twp., Michigan. He was born June 18, 1932 in Sunmine, Butler County to the late Walter Daniel and Stella (Jones) Carnathan. Theodore lived 22 years in Brackenridge and Fawn Twp. since the age of 6. He was a technician at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., Brackenridge for 44 years and a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War. Theodore was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Brackenridge, 502 F&M Tarentum and the Natrona Heights VFW Post 894. He graduated from Tarentum High School in 1950 and enjoyed golf and was a former hunter.

            Survivors include his wife Maxine E. (Cheesman) Carnathan and a sister Freda Mae Atkinson, of Tarentum. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter L., James Leroy and Donald E. Carnathan.

            A private family viewing was held in Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Entombment was private in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. VISIT: dusterfh.com
