Thomas E. Gandziarski, 90, of Frazer Twp., passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 18, 2025, after a brief illness. Born March 20,1935, in East Deer Twp, he was a proud USMC veteran, longtime Frazer resident, and retired foreman from Numec Nuclear Babcox & Wilcox. He was formerly the Buildings & Grounds Supervisor at Deer Lakes School District. Tom was a member of SonRise Community Church, Sarver and a life member of Allegheny Valley Marine Corps Detachment 827, Springdale.
A 1954 graduate of East Deer Frazier High School, Tom was a passionate sportsman, who enjoyed football, basketball, bowling, golf, and cheering on Pittsburgh teams.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Ann (Madera); children Michael, Stephanie (Peter) Hart, and Catherine (Dean) Hornsby; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 1 on the way; siblings Verley Baker and Gerald Gandziarski. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Joseph.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Marine Corp honors at 7 PM Wednesday in the funeral home.
A service will be held Thursday at 11 AM with Pastor John E. Neyman, Jr., officiating at Duster Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
