Thomas William Gehenio

Thomas William Gehenio, 77, of New Kensington, passed away at home on Thursday, July 16, 2026. He was born October 19, 1948 in New Kensington a son of the late William and Ruth (Miller) Gehenio. Thomas was raised in Creighton and was employed in the offices of the US Government. Thomas was veteran of the US Navy serving from 1968-1974 and of the catholic faith. He was a life member of the Tarentum Eagles, member of Owl’s Club in Russellton where he served as the VP. He was a 1967 graduate of East Deer High school and was a woodcrafter and loved playing cards.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Theresa (Ritchie) Gehenio; sister Barbara (Vince) Sporic; nephews Tim and Chris Sporic and numerous cousins. Also surviving is his pet dog Molly. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his pets Sugar, Nina and Eagle.
