Thomas “Rap” Rapsinski, 73, of Sarver passed away at home February 14, 2025. Born April 1, 1951 in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Julia (Klabnik) Rapsinski. A 1969 graduate of Highlands High School and a 1973 graduate of Clarion State College, he was employed by Allegheny Ludlum (ATI) retiring in 2007 after 30 years of service.
A member of the Knights of Columbus and the Keystone Elk Country Alliance, he enjoyed hunting and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Phyllis (Pajewski), Daughters Rosalyn Rapsinski, Amy (Darren) Vtipil, and Dr. Kristin Rapsinski; granddaughter Carmella Vtipil. Brothers Richard (Joyce) Rapsinski, George Jr. (Kimberly) Rapsinski, Robert Rapsinski; Sisters Marie Singerman and Julie (Keith) McEwen along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 2:00PM to 8:00PM in the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Cabot. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Hope Mausoleum, Frazer Twp.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The St. Vincent De Paul Fund at St. Francis of Assisi Parish. VISIT: dusterfh.com
