Thomas Russell Vorp

Thomas R. Vorp,73 of Buffalo Twp. passed away Sunday May 13,2018,at the Butler VA. Born  June 17,1944 in Harrison Twp a son of the late Alvin M. and Ruth ( Westerman) Vorp he  lived the past 45 yrs in Buffalo Twp, and was retired from PPG Industries at RIDC park  where he was a Technical Assistant .

Thomas was a graduate of Freeport High School in 1962,and served in the Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of New Life Church in Saxonburg, and enjoyed wood working,hunting,reading,but especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

 He is survived by his wife of 45 yrs,Shirley A. (Lasko) Vorp, children, Thomas Vorp,Tarentum, Pamela (Paul) France,Natrona Heights,Sherry (David) Fredley,Buffalo Twp,and Mark (Angela) Vorp of Gilpin Twp.Also surviving are his 6 grandchildren,Josh,Jessica, David,Tyler,Zachary,Michael,and sisters,Margie (Fred) Hackett, Tavares,Fl and Susan (Robert) Love , South Buffalo Twp.

Besides parents he was preceded in death by a brother David Vorp. Visitation will be Tues,May 15,2018 from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10^th Avenue,Tarentum,Pa.15084 724-224-1526 where a service  will be conducted Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Mark Lutz officiating. Burial at a later date will be in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Military Honors
