Timothy B. Detman, 59, of Tarentum, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 following a brief illness. He was born July 31, 1962 in Harrison Township to the late William C. and Marian (Pracko) Detman. Timothy lived his entire life in Tarentum where he was a self-employed landscaper and previously worked at Gatto Cycle shop in Tarentum. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Holy Martys Church, Tarentum, New Kensington Moose, life member 7th Street Sportsman Club, New Kensington VFW, Sons of American Legion, Lower Burrell and the Brackenridge American Legion Post 226. Timothy graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1980 where he played baseball and golf. He enjoyed riding his Harley, drag races, was a Pittsburgh sports fan. He also enjoyed boating and fishing.
Survivors include his siblings Christopher Detman, of East Deer Twp., Elaine (Neal) Macurdy, of Buffalo twp., Lydia Detman (Anthony Fuhrman) , of Shaler Twp. and Cynthia Knoch, of Tarentum. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10th Avenue,Tarentum,Pa.15084 where a Blessing Service will be conducted on Friday at 10AM. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery,Frazer Twp.visit:dusterfh.com
