Toni Marie McConnell

Toni Marie (Lentz) McConnell, 61, of Tarentum, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness. She was born September 2, 1963 in Harrison Township to Anthony T. Lentz, of Tarentum and the late Darlene (Montgomery) Lentz. Toni has lived in Tarentum since 2000 and lived in Orlando, FL for 20 years. Toni was a 1981 graduate of Highlands High School, Forbes Vocational-Technical School and a 1988 graduate of Kissimmee Florida Police Academy and was a police officer for 20 years. Toni was also a program assistant-home health aide for Community Life and LIFE Pittsburgh. She was of the Presbyterian faith and enjoyed gardening, traveling to Florida, the beach and cooking. She especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.

 Besides her father, survivors include her husband of 15 years, David A. McConnell; sons Jason M. (Kristen) Rusiewicz, of Seven Fields and Ryan D.J. (Miranda) Rusiewicz, of Vandergrift and 8 grandchildren, 4 boys and 4 girls. Also surviving are her brothers Timothy T. (Catherine) Lentz, of Leechburg and Howard T. (Jodie) Lentz, of Vandergrift.
