Tracey Leah Connelly

Tracey Leah Connelly, 59, of Brackenridge, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born May 19, 1962 in Cheswick, daughter of Shirley (James) Close, of Sarasota, FL and the late Warren G. Close. Tracey lived most of her life in Brackenridge and was a Maintenance Supervisor for CMS Management in Pittsburgh for 7 years. She was of the Methodist Faith and a social member of Brackenridge American Legion, Tarentum Sportsman’s Club and Oakmont Yacht Club where she was the former and  current First Lady. Tracey graduated from Springdale High School in 1980 and enjoyed boating and gardening.

            Survivors include her husband of 30 years Timothy G. Connelly; step children Dennis (Theresa) Connelly, of Lower Burrell, Timothy M. (Shannon Grogan) Connelly, of Tarentum and Maggie (Jason) Meier, of Springdale; grandchildren Timothy, Casey and Levi Connelly and Mason and Blake Meier. Also surviving are her siblings Daryl Lynn Close, of Sarasota, FL, John T. Close, of Sarasota, FL and Danielle (Paul) Orsino, of North Point, FL.; nieces and nephews, Christopher Mamros, of Vandergrift, Jessica Mamros, of Bradenton, FL, Madison Close, Sierra Close and Robert Williams, all of Lower Burrell and Kayleigh Petramale, of Sarasota, FL.
