Velma R. Herbulock, 101, Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Morning Pointe, Clinton, TN. She was born October 2, 1916 in Brownsville, PA to the late Vincent and Hermina (Pravda) Frederick. Velma was a homemaker and lived in Natrona Heights for 62 years where she was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights and currently a member of St. Therese parish, Clinton, TN. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and enjoyed playing cards, going to casinos and making people laugh but she especially enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Joseph T. (Patricia) Herbulock, St. Paul, MN and Wellington, New Zealand, Janice P. (Donald) Watkins, Oak Ridge, TN; grandchildren Dacia Herbulock, Wellington, New Zealand, Marisa Defay, Lexington, MA, Christina Clark, Tampa, FL and Justin Watkins, Tuscaloosa, AL; great grandchildren Sebastian and Isadora, Wellington, New Zealand, John and Benjamin, Lexington, MA and Christopher and Richard,Lithia FL. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Herbulock in 1996; sisters Helen Trygina, Zella Vilsack, Margaret Burger, Ermalene Kuchta and Mary Frederick and a brother Vincent Frederick.
Visitation 6-8 PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Burial in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
