Victoria (Koblinsky) Lyle, 61 of Harmar Township, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Canterberry Place, Pittsburgh, following an eighth month battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on December 25, 1956 in New Kensington, a daughter of the late Bernard and Mildred (Trautwein) Koblinsky. Victoria lived most of her life in the Springdale, Cheswick area. She was a Logistics Clerk for Bayer Company, RIDC Park for 17 years, and was of the Catholic faith. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1974. Victoria enjoyed watching Jeopardy, playing cards , working crossword puzzles, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family, children and grand children.
Survivors include her daughters, Lynda Koblinsky of Harmar Twp., and Elaine V. Isherwood, Lyle of Penn Hills, grand children Alan and Kaitlyn Plocki of Harmar Twp., her siblings Susan Koblinsky of Texas, Theresa (Mike) Sexauer of Pittsburgh, Bernard “Bernie” Koblinsky of Natrona Heights, and a close nephew, Gary (Mary) Mortimer of Monaca.
Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, February 1st from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Duster Funeral Home Inc. 347 East 10th Avenue, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A Blessing service will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wesley M. Mash officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. The family suggests contributions may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Pittsburgh Chapter, or Canterberry Place ,Pgh. VISIT: dusterfh.com.
