Vincent T. Palmer, III, 73, of Fawn Twp., passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at UPMC Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 26, 1950 in Pittsburgh to the late Vincent T. and Elizabeth (Campbell) Palmer, II. Vincent lived most of his life in Fawn Township. He was the Head Repairman in the 8-7 Department of Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp. in Brackenridge for over 30 years. Vincent was a veteran of the Vietnam era serving in the US Marine Corps. He was a member of Center Church, Fawn Twp. and a graduate of McKeesport High School. Vincent was a Presidential guard for President Nixon when he was in California. He enjoyed his pets Zelda and Lexi, camping, gardening fishing and wood working. He also enjoyed heavy duty equipment, previously enjoyed NASCAR and owned 2 corvettes. Vincent also enjoyed his morning coffee in his garage.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Gloria J. (Anderson) Palmer, daughter Angela M. (Kent) Fusko, of West Deer Twp., step son John Boberg, of Trafford and daughter Valerie Santiago.; grandchildren Ruger Beer, Eli Fusko, Brandon Boberg, Phoenix and Demi Peripanos and Bella Palmer. Also surviving are his brothers Louis Palmer, of Penn Hills and Joseph Palmer, of WA. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Betty Lou Stone.
Visitation 3-7 PM Thursday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in Center Church, Fawn Twp. with Rev. C.
