Vinnie M. Corso, 94, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. She was born November 27, 1929 in Tarentum to the late Antonio and Nellie (Geraci) Calderone. Vinnie lived most of her life in Tarentum. She was a secretary for Dr. Fishkins at Allegheny Valley Hospital and also worked at DiGiralamo Fruit Market. She was a member of the former Holy Martyrs Church, now Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. Vinnie graduated from Tarentum High School and enjoyed traveling, mall walking and bingo. Family card games were her favorite activity.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann (Daniel) Dubac, of Lower Burrell and Paola Corso, of Brooklyn, NY. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Mario P. Corso and a brother Joseph Calderone.
Visitation Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of Blessing service at 10 AM in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. VISIT: dusterfh.com
