Violet R. Riemer

          Violet R. Riemer, 92, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Bayberry Place, Lower Burrell following ongoing health issues. She was born February 16, 1931 in Winfield Twp. to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Lerner) Riemer. She lived most of her life in Tarentum and a number of years in Allison Park. Violet was a Proof reader for the Valley News Dispatch for 40 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Natrona Heights and a graduate of Winfield High School. Violet loved her cats and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

        Survivors include 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Also surviving is a great niece Tori Howells and great great niece Aria Howells. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lester and Henry Riemer, Dorothy Schrecengost, Marcella Coffman, Mildred Hamilton, Betty I. James, Stella Martinetti and Rosanne L. Gallagher.
