Virginia Kay Reese Malobicky, 83, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, September 10, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born June 3, 1939 in Wilkinsburg to the late Leonard D. and Ruth (McMaster) Reese. Virginia was a graduate of Tarentum High School where she was a cheerleader and active in various other clubs. It was here she met the love of her life and husband of 63 years, Rudy Malobicky. Her continued education included a certificate from the Pinkerton School of Business in Pittsburgh, followed with attendance to Westmoreland Community College and Penn State New Ken where she studied computer science. Virginia was always known for her exemplary style, fashion, grace and love of entertaining. With these qualities, Virginia embraced her years living in Paris, France with enthusiasm and confidence. She developed a passion for travel and a love for various different cultures. She was a proud attendee of the prestigious Cordon Bleu cooking school and enjoyed touring the French countryside with various tour groups.

Virginia was a devout Catholic and chose to live her life as a humble servant to God. She passed this on through her teaching of Catechism classes at St. Joseph’s Church, New Kensington. She was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. By far, Virginia’s greatest source of pride and happiness was her family. She was a devoted wife and loving stay at home mother to 4 children. She thrived on hosting gatherings with all of her grandchildren to celebrate many holidays. Virginia spent her last 15 years living in Florida where her hobbies included golfing, knitting, water aerobics, cruising the oceans but most enjoyably were her evenings on her beloved lanai watching the sunset with Rudy.
