William N. "Bill" Baker, 78, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, at his home, in Painesville, Ohio. He was born Dec. 23, 1941, to the late Jean (Baker) Salvatore. He was a former member of St. Clement and Holy Martyr's Church, Tarentum. Bill was a social member of the Brackenridge American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Tarentum. He was raised in Oakmont's Orphanage until it closed in 1953. William and his beloved wife, Nancy (Kissel), who passed away Sept. 18, 2020, were married 46 years. Survivors include his daughter, Kathleen Osborn, of Painesville, Ohio, and grandchildren, Kylie and Kameron Osborn. Also surviving are his brothers, Royal and Patrick Salvatore, of Omaha, Neb. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Kissel) Baker, his mother, Jean (Baker) Salvatore, and his brother, Frank Salvatore. A memorial Mass for William and Nancy Baker will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. In lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to Hospice of Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.
