William E. “Bill” Bittinger, of Natrona Heights, passed away shortly before his 91st birthday, Saturday, October 29, 2022. He was born October 30, 1931 in Brackenridge to the late Jacob P. and Florence A. (Lynch) Bittinger. Bill had lived the past 54 years in Natrona Heights and prior to that, Brackenridge. He was a warehouseman for Action Industries in Harwick. Bill currently attended Allegheny Valley Baptist Church and prior to that, the former Calvary Baptist Church, Natrona Heights. Bill enjoyed playing tennis and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Anne “Liz” (Robb) Bittinger; daughters Cheryl E. (Albert “Chuck”) Belli, of New Kensington and Beverly L. (William) Cobern, of Baden. Also surviving are his grandchildren Ryan (Sarah) Cobern, Christopher Cobern, Adam Belli, sister-in-law Wanda Acre and 1 niece and 5 nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John “Pres” Bittinger.
Visitation Thursday from 10 am until the time of service at 11:30 am in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Pastor Matthew P. Goetz officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. VISIT: dusterfh.com
