William E. McCafferty, 95, of Fawn Township, passed away at home on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025. He was born June 21, 1930, in Fawn Township, to the late James and Effie (Porter) McCafferty. William lived his entire life in Fawn Township and was an auto mechanic for McCafferty Automotive, Fawn Township. William was of the Methodist faith and a member of Outdoor Life Lodge, Fawn Township. He graduated from Tarentum High School and enjoyed Lernerville Speedway and yard sales and especially enjoyed his family and his grandchildren. Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Ethel M. (Shoop) McCafferty of Fawn Township; and his grandchildren, Grayce F. McCafferty of FawnTownship and William C. (Artalee) McCafferty of Butler. Also surviving is the family's close friend and caregiver, Dorothy B. Miller of Natrona Heights. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Grayce (Hosack) McCafferty, in 1992; and his son, William J. McCafferty, in 2024.
