WIlliam R. Hamersly, III

            William R. Hamersly, III, 53, of Tarentum passed away Friday, December 08, 2017 at home. He was born June 11, 1964 in Harrison Twp., to the late Walter R.  Hamersly and Loretta B. (Artkowsky) Bachman. He lived his entire life in Brackenridge and Tarentum and was a self employed contractor. William was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in Desert Storm. He was of the Catholic faith and a 1982 graduate of Highlands High School. William enjoyed hunting, fishing and volleyball.             Survivors include his siblings, Sandra L. Laughery, Arnold and Mark K. Bachman, Tarentum, 1 niece and 2 nephews. Also surviving is his companion with whom he lived with Cynthia A. Keck. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his step father Kenneth L. Bachman.             Visitation, Services and Interment in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. were private.
