William J. Hrivnak, 74, of Brackenridge, passed away at home Saturday, October 28, 2017. He was born April 1, 1943 to the late Joseph and Mary Hrivnak of Natrona. William owned and operated Ernie’s Tavern in Brackenridge for 34 years. He enjoyed going out to eat at new restaurants, classic cars, oldies music and crossword puzzles. William especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyce (Fricioni) Hrivnak; his children Jaymi Hrivnak, Russellton, Craig (Wendy) Hrivnak, Creighton and Keri Hrivnak, Harmar Village, Cheswick. Also surviving are his three beautiful grandchildren, Amber Schreckengost, Brackenridge and attending Carlow University, Bryce Hrivnak, Lower Burrell and Jacob Hrivnak, Creighton. Also surviving is his sister, Kathy Visci Gier, Shaler and his very best friend Charon Whaley, Brackenridge. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Hrivnak.
