William Alan Jones

William Alan Jones, 56, of Upper Burrell passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born December 7, 1961 to Leroy Jones and Elva (Ferney) Jones. He was the beloved husband and best friend to Terri (Rapp) Jones for 28 years. Bill was a 1980 graduate of Highlands High School and was employed as a maintenance man at PPG, Springdale and also worked at National Material Co., Arnold. Bill was a true family man and always enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Bill’s sense of humor and positive attitude will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He enjoyed hunting and fly fishing.

            Survivors include his wife, Terri (Rapp) Jones; son Joseph (Teryse) Jones, twin daughters Sarah and Amanda (Fiancé Cody Blair) Jones and his two grandsons Noah and Caden Jones. Also surviving are his siblings Brenda, Brian, Mylissa (Terry Graham), Roy (Danette Slimick) and Rich (Rebecca) Jones. His in-laws Louis and Linda Rapp and his brother-in law Richard Rapp. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Walter and Anna Ferney and paternal grandparents Alvin and Janet Jones.
