William G. Lewis

William G. Lewis, 72, of Tarentum, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 9, 2023 following a lengthy illness. He was born June 18, 1950 in Pittsburgh to the late Edward P. and Betty (Murphy) Lewis. William lived the past 16 years in Tarentum and prior to that Pittsburgh. He was a roofer in the Pittsburgh area. William was a veteran of the Vietnam war serving in the US Marine Corps. He was a Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Steelers, enjoyed traveling, his family, children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Karen L. (Moriarity) Lewis; his children Belinda (Donald) Snyder, of Brackenridge and Christopher J. Lewis, at home. Also surviving are his grandchildren Breann Lewis and Aaron Moore, Jr, his dog Chuck and a sister Ethel Williams, of Brackenridge. All services and burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. will be private.
