William B. Negley

August 30, 1959 — November 25, 2025

Buffalo Township

William B. Negley, 66, of Buffalo Township, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born August 30, 1959, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late William and Beverly (Olar) Negley.

He spent most of his life in the AK Valley, working as a self-employed car salesman—a job he didn’t just excel at, he thrived in. William had a natural ability to talk to anyone, find common ground, and make people feel taken care of. He could strike up a conversation with a stranger, share a story that made them laugh, and before long his customers often became friends.

He proudly served in the United States Navy and was of the Christian faith. A graduate of Burrell High School, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music, and reading.

He is survived by his sons, William J. (Eve) Negley of Gibsonia; Dominic O. Negley and Nate (Ashley) Negley, both of Lower Burrell; and Tyler (Jordan) Negley of Fredericksburg, VA.

William is also survived by his six grandchildren: Maxx, Luna, and Echo (children of William J. Negley); Emma (daughter of Dominic Negley); Jace (son of Nate Negley); and Miles (son of Tyler Negley) was dearly loved as well.

He is further survived by his siblings, Tracy (Jay) Snyder of Kiski Township, Patsy (Brian) Taylor of Lower Burrell, and Vincent (Deanna) Negley of Hopewell Township; as well as his longtime companion, Christina Messina.

All services and burial for William will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
