William K. “Butch” Stobert, Jr., 80, of Brackenridge, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at the VA Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born January 26, 1942 in Harrison Township to the late William K. “Pap” and Elvira J. (Schietroma) Stobert. Butch lived his entire life in Brackenridge where he worked for Brackenridge Boro for 25 years. He was a veteran of the Korean war serving in the US Army. Butch was of the Catholic faith and a member of Harrison Twp. VFW, Brackenridge American Legion and a former member of Oregon Club, Brackenridge. Butch graduated from Har Brack High School in 1961 and enjoyed his tool collection and basketball. He especially enjoyed his family, children and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Survivors include his companion of 33 years Connie L. Stokes Pomrenke; his children Dawn M. Stobert, of Natrona Heights, Lonnie L. (Ciara) Stobert, of State College, Lisa A. (David) Weidner, of Melbourne, FL, William H. (Christine) Clark, of Freeport, Sean (Serena) Clark, of Vandergrift, Eric Clark, of Natrona Heights and Rachelle (Ronald) Jones, of Manassas, VA and Jamie (Grant) Walters, of Natrona Heights. Grandchildren Laina, Lawna, Justyne, Keirrie, Cody, Colton, Caleb, Bailey, Cameron, William, Shona, Gage, Jrake, Aiden, Mia, Ava and Lincoln and 8 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Daniel A. Stobert in 2000.
